Final Project Assigned: Due at your meeting day.
Final Project: Write a 7 paragraph essay that proves to me you've improved in 5 areas of writing. To prove it, provide me examples from your essays/drafts that show the area you needed improvement in and show me examples from your essays that demonstrate how you've improved.
Simple Example:
I've improved in writing complete sentences. In one of my first essays, the narrative, I wrote using comma splices like this: "...................," and like this, "............................'" but after learning what a comma splice is, now I am able to avoid that. In a later essay, my descriptive essay, I wrote this sentence: "..............................." and in my problem solution essay I wrote this, "........................................" Thanks to my hard work, I am able to notice when I make that mistake and correct it and that is just one of the areas I've improved in.
Special Note: 5 ALP Students at the 4/25 11-11:50 meeting in the Student Union.
